FT wax, with its narrow molecular-weight distribution and high purity, is a preferred substitute for traditional paraffin and PE wax across many industrial scenarios, but requirements differ greatly by application:
- PVC stabilizers / lubricants: low volatility and lubrication efficiency matter; choose micronized wax with dropping point 100–115°C and uniform fineness.
- Hot-melt adhesives (HMA): viscosity and open time; match melt index and softening point.
- Masterbatches: high dispersibility and low gel; powder particle-size control is key.
- Printing inks & coatings: wear resistance and feel; oxidized-wax modified products fit better.
